Course Offerings
16 one-hour modules comprising topics as required by the ARRT in the following content categories:
- Patient Care in Proton Therapy
- Safety in Proton Therapy
- Procedures in Proton Therapy
Clinical Component
Participants are required to complete clinical procedures, as recommended by the ARRT, from the categories below.
- Specific Procedural Requirements Include:
- Patient Immobilization Devices
- Abdomen, pelvis, GI and GU
- Treatments
- CNS
- Head and Neck
- Thorax
- Breast
- Abdomen, Pelvis, GI, and GU
- A total of 75 repetitions (overall) is required.
- Simulated procedures do not qualify. All clinical procedures must be performed on actual patients.
