The Legion Healthcare Partners Proton Beam Dosimetry Certificate program offers a post-primary educational opportunity for credentialed dosimetrists, currently or previously working in proton beam radiation therapy or in conventional radiation therapy, who desire to increase their knowledge of the principles and practices of proton beam treatment planning and delivery. This program was developed and created through a partnership with AAMD to ensure the achievement of the foundational standards for Proton Beam Dosimetry.

This certificate course offers 16 hours of structured education and provides Medical Dosimetrist Certification Board [MDCB] continuing education opportunities. Instructional components consist of online, module-based didactic instruction and clinical treatment planning requirements. Dosimetrists successfully meeting all objectives of the program will receive a Certificate of Completion. The Legion Healthcare Partners Proton Beam Dosimetry Certificate program delivers comprehensive learning which allows participants to master critical knowledge and technical skills in a robust, self-driven environment while offering opportunities for collaborative learning through virtual discussion sessions and a hands-on treatment planning workshop. Up to 26 MDCB CE credits may be obtained through successful completion of all program elements.
