Ms. Mathew has over 20 years of experience in the healthcare field, most notably 13 years within the prior authorization field. Suveena helped pioneer the authorization process for INOVA Department of Advanced Radiation Oncology and Proton Therapy and coordinated care within the multidisciplinary clinics. She launched the medical oncology authorization process for chemotherapy infusion outpatient facility at Fairfax West Infusion and with the flagship location INOVA Schar Cancer Institute, Department of Fairfax Hospital. She jump-started coordination of copay assistance programs for medical oncology drugs and secured authorizations to maximize payments towards patients’ balances while reducing out of pocket costs for patients. In addition to her radiation oncology experience, Suveena has extensive experience within the medical oncology sector.

Ms. Mathew is currently working toward her Bachelor’s in Health Information Management.
