Ms. Oommen has over 5 years of radiation oncology experience, most notably three of those years are in proton therapy prior authorization. Sneha started her career as a medical dosimetrist, proficient in both photon and proton treatment planning, and later transitioned her unique dosimetric and oncology knowledge into radiation oncology business services. In her role as a clinical program manager, she has played a vital role in developing appeal letters specific to numerous disease sites and insurance companies. She understands and interprets medical policies and state and federal guidelines in strategizing payor specific arguments, providing the most effective and quickest overturn in proton denials. Sneha has collaborated in piloting a centralized new patient referral process for radiation oncology which later was deployed as a standard process.

Ms. Oommen has a B.S. in Psychology from the University of Houston system, a B.S. in Medical Dosimetry from the University of Texas M.D. Anderson and a Masters in Health Administration from the Louisiana State University System.
